Saurus

They were presumed to be extinct, but the biggest beasts that ever walked the Earth returned to the 21st century for Saurus by Close Act Theatre, thrilling families across Outer London.

Everyone came together in a fun and energetic event, building a huge structure out of colourful wooden sticks, in Steli by Stalker Teatro.

Circulate Resident Artists, Ockham’s Razor presented their exciting first show made specifically for outdoors, with a giant semi-circular see-saw and incredible circus skills.

Liberty unbound

Circulate brought Liberty Unbound to Enfield, Hounslow and Deptford in 2018, with a vibrant programme of music, theatre, art, dance, and sculpture, celebrating diversity in the creative arts.

Award-winning artist and British Composer of the Year Ray Lee brought his monumental sound installation to Outer London in 2017.

Lots of fun was had with recyclable, outdoor games brought to our Circulate locations by Barcelona based company Guixot de 8.
SILENCER

Mem Morrison worked with communities, aiming to raise awareness of the political, cultural and individual challenges faced by local people living and working in Outer London.

Circulate resident artists Levantes Dance Theatre worked with the Albany Young Creatives to create Parlour, an interactive, walk-about performance.

Barcelona based company Iron Skulls brought their dark and unexpected dance piece to all four of our Outer London locations.

Circulate resident artists Akademi were commissioned to create a brand new contemporary piece of South Asian dance. This beautiful 40-minute dance production was inspired by the final part of Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Circulate commissioned Cirque Bijou and Nutkhut to develop S.O.U.R.C.E. in 2014. The company were in residency at each of the venues, engaging with the community, rehearsing and running workshops

Institute for Crazy Dancing's Life Boat sailed to all four of the Circulate venues, and our additional Satellite locations too!
REMEMBERING THE FUTURE

Acclaimed artists Hellicar and Lewis were commissioned to create a bespoke and interactive installation for Circulate.
CIRCULATE SEEDS
2014/2015
Circulate commissioned five companies to test new outdoor work in 2014. After touring the Circulate network, three pieces were chosen to be developed into full shows for 2015.
